Standards for
Charges Collected for CCS RCD Certification Services
CCS
RCD certification services are to be charged in accordance with CCS Rules for
Charges (hereinafter referred to as Rules for Charges). The details are given
as below:
1. MODULE
B (TYPE
EXAMINATION )
1.1. Charges for
module B initial certification are calculated as below:

1.2. Certification
changes: charges are to be collected in accordance with the standards for
certificate changes.
2. MODULE
D/ MODULE E (PRODUCTION-QUALITY
ASSURANCE/ PRODUCT-QUALITY ASSURANCE)
2.1. Initial
certification and re-certification: to be collected in accordance with the
Rules for Charges and manufacturer approved standards. For certification to
enterprises that have obtained CCS ISO 9000 certification that makes its
initial application for module D/module E certification, it is to be deemed as
re-certification, and to be collected in accordance with the renewal standards
specified in Rules for Charges.
2.2. Regular
examination: to be collected in accordance with standards for regular examinations
that have been approved by the manufacturer and specified in Rules for Charges
(product examination not necessary after the approval), to be collected once
for all for one circle.
2.3. Special
examination: to be collected in accordance with the standards specified in Rules
for Charges for man/hour.
2.4. Certification
changes: to be collected in accordance with the standards for certificate
changes specified in Rules for Charges.
3. MODULE
F (PRODUCT
VERIFICATION):to be
collected by 50% of the charges for module B certification;
4. MODULE
G (UNIT
VERIFICATION):to be
collected by module B+ module F certification charges;
5. MODULE
Aa (INTERNAL
PRODUCTION CONTROL PLUS TESTS ): to be collected by the charging method
as specified in Rules for Charges for man/hour. Man/hour charges are to be
collected in accordance with the standards specified in Rules for Charges.
6. Miscellaneous
6.1. Certificate
fees: to be collected in accordance with the standards for certificate fees
specified in Rules for Charges;
6.2. Fees incurred
during the implementation of certification services such as travelling
expenses, communication fees, mail fees, and insurance fees are to be borne by
the applicant and collected once in all when certification fees are paid.
6.3. When the
certification is completed, but the certificate cannot be issued due to the
applicant’s reason (the product test proves it is not qualified), the applicant
is to be pay all the certification expenses.
6.4. Overtime pay: at
the applicant’s demand, overtime pay is to be collected for Surveyor working on
legal holidays or overtime for survey purpose, in addition to the fees
collected in accordance with the standards. Overtime pay is to be collected in
accordance with the standards for overtime work as specified in Rules for
Charges.
6.5. Costs for futile
travels: if the applicant changes its plan for survey or other reasons the
Surveyor had futile travels and waited for nothing, costs for futile travels
are to be collected. The costs for futile costs are to be collected in accordance
with standards for futile costs specified in Rules for Charges.
6.6. Fees for
certification of components of recreational craft, main engine emissions and
noises, refer to Standards for Charges of CCS MED Certification.
6.7. As for other
survey and certification activities that have not specified in the Standards,
refer to the standards for man/hour charges. Man/hour charges are to be
collected in accordance with the standards specified in Rules for Charges.
